Mold removal is different from mold remediation. Mold is present almost everywhere in our atmosphere and mold removal does not mean the removal of the mold itself. It is actually the removal of structures where mold has started growing its colonies. Mold remediation is the process of getting the mold levels to or under their normal limits. This tells us that complete mold removal from the atmosphere is not possible.
Mod exists in the air and can rapidly spread by making colonies when it comes in contact with water. Therefore, mold removal is the first stage of any process along with eliminating the source of water contamination. After we remove the mold from any surface, we may need to partially or fully replace the structure itself to ascertain that the mold-infected areas are completely removed.
After we completely remove the mold and repair the infected surfaces, we may need to check for the mold levels in the atmosphere to rule any second source of infection and we may need to control the humidity of the house as well.
